Lake Balboa is the largest lake in Hot Springs Village and a favorite spot for fishing, water sports and swimming. It has a full-service marina, sand beach and a spectacular picnic area. The beach area has fine sand with shelters, additional picnic tables and grills available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The pavilion will seat up to 300 people and has a public announcement system, picnic tables, restrooms, grills and a fireplace. It’s a good venue for events with its proximity to the beach area, large parking area, boat ramp and marina.
Balboa Lakeside Marina has everything you’ll need to spend a day on the water from boat rentals to snacks. It has both covered and non-covered slip rentals on a permanent or part-time basis as well as live bait and tackle supplies. Be sure to ask about their sunset tours.
Waypoint at DeSoto Marina is a full-service marina and Basecamp hub with boat slip rentals, kayak/paddle board/boat rentals, coffee bar and restaurant. Grab a snack and ice-cold drink and enjoy the view on the outdoor patio.
